The Battles of Lexington and Concord
- Fought on April 19, 1775 to kick off the War.
- On the night of April 18, hundreds of British troops to siege Concord and find Adams and Hancock.
- Paul Revere and other people rode on their houses warning the colonists, "The British are coming!"
- The British were also shooting at the minutemen in Lexington.
- Nobody knows who took the first shot.
- British lost 273 soldiers while the colonists lost 94.
- The colonists won the battles.
- The Revolutionary War had begun.
