- The British surrounded the Americans by ships with canons in the harbor.
- American General Warren was killed in battle.
- About 1,150 British men were killed or wounded.
- About 450 Americans killed or wounded.
- But there were more British fighting than Americans.
- The British won and took over Breed and Bunker Hills.
