Samuel Adams
- Born September 22, 1722. Died October 2, 1803.
- Went to Harvard and became a tax collector.
- Cousins with John Adams.
- He was an excellent politician.
- Represented Massachusetts in the Continental Congress.
- Signed the Declaration of Independence
- Wrote many articles for newspapers and magazines.
- People would have problems with him because he was a horrible businessman and his always spoke his mind.
- Protested against the Stamp act
- Wrote a letter condemning the Townshend Acts as no taxation without representation.
- Formed the Sons of Liberty with John Hancock.
