George Washington
- Born February 22, 1732. Died December 14, 1799.
- In June 1755, Congress ordered Washington to be the General for the Continental Army.
- He proved to become one of the best leaders during the War.
- He devolved winning strategies while he got more and more experienced with the British.
- He always had faith in his men and always kept pushing them to fight harder.
- Him and his men crossed the Delaware River to surprise attack the British at Trenton
- His men really respected and trusted him.
- October 1781, Washington brought his men to Yorktown, surrounded and trapped the British where they had their last victory.
- After the War was over, he became the first president of the United States.
- He is now called "the Father of our Country"
